“UNITY” MURAL

Commissioned by the Bloomfield Department of Parks and Recreation
Using our town’s motto alongside the mention of togetherness, playing off the existing “Stay Strong” mural in town, the messaging of this mural feels distinctly Bloomfield. The colorsand patterns to accompany the messages are bold, graphic, colorful and joyful for the viewer. You will see a nod to the newly named flower of Bloomfield, the Black-eyed Susan, throughout.

“SUPERBLOOM” IN BLOOMFIELD

Commissioned by the Bloomfield Department of Parks and Recreation
I had created a Superbloom mural in Princeton, NJ, but it was only in a temporary space. When the request for proposals came through from my hometown of Bloomfield, I thought it would be lovely to create another Superbloom in a permanent spot. I also just loved the idea of superBLOOM in BLOOMfield! My proposal was reviewed by the Department of Cultural Affairs Sub-Committee and was unanimously selected for its vibrancy and unique style.

“COLORFUL CORAL”

Commissioned by the City of Asbury Park and The Asbury Park Arts Commission
I wanted to create a mural with a beach theme that would spark joy all the way from the boardwalk to the street. Having grown up in NJ, the shore was always a day trip away and being on site brought back a lot of nostalgia for me. Thrilled to have worked in this space.

“SUPERBLOOM” in PRINCETON

Commissioned by the Arts Council of Princeton and sponsored by Bumble
For Princeton, I wanted to create a bright, playful, colourful mural that represents Spring. The idea of a flower field came to mind and was the jumping off point for this project. In my drawings, paintings, and ceramics, I try to explore joy in the creation process and how my finalized art may evoke feelings of happiness in the viewer. This was a temporary mural in a space that switches out every 3 months for a different artist to create something.

NIGHTJAR MURAL

Commissioned by Nightjar dispensary
A local dispensary got in touch about creating a unique mural for their new store opening in Bloomfield. They wanted the same style I did for the “Reflect” mural in Clifton with the twist of adding their founders initials, animal icons and other fun hidden symbols. Please stop by and see what you can find in the markings!

“REFLECT”

Commissioned by RIOT LLC
I was commissioned by creative studio RIOT LLC to create a wall of mirror metallic marks for the exterior of their studio. They mentioned that the architect of this building had a love for playing with light, so I hope we were able to honor that by creating this reflective surface.

MONTHLY MURAL PROJECT

Accent wall exploration
I have decided to turn this blank wall in my studio into a project during the 2023 year. I want to create one mural a month to explore different accent wall techniques. These are unrealized to the public and I would be open to commissions involving using these designs. If interested, feel free to reach out via my contact page.

“ART ALL DAY TRENTON: MINI SUPERBLOOM”

Commissioned by Artworks Trenton
It was great to be a part of Art All Day Trenton as a live muralist. I had a window of 11am-3pm to create a mini simplified version of my signature Superbloom and I’m happy with the colorful results. Thank you again to Artworks Trenton for the opportunity and special thanks to Lank for organizing the whole thing.

“ART TAKES THE BENCH: THE SPIRIT OF NEW MILFORD”

Commissioned by NNJCF, Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs and NJ State Council on the Arts
I had so much fun painting this bench alongside the citizens of New Milford as a part of their National Night Out event. This bench will be going in front of a children’s school, so it felt really special to paint it alongside the students who go there, as well as many alumni of the school. The original concept was to have everyone fingerprint in the shapes, but the towns people were SO creative with their mark making that we let them listen to their inner artists and flow.

“SUPERBLOOM RAIN BARREL”

Commissioned by NNJCF as a part of the Partners for Places Green Infrastructure and Environmental Justice for Flood Mitigation Project
I was happy to be one 11 artists chosen to paint a rain barrel for the Northern NJ Community Foundation’s “Barrels O’Art” project. The rain barrels are temporarily installed in Carver Park, Hackensack to bring attention to flooding in the area.

“SUSTAINABILITY FEEDBACK MURAL”

Commissioned by The Other Art Fair
The Other Art Fair is setting itself the challenge of creating a Greener Future. Teaming up with Broadcaster and Head of Collections at Soho House Kate Bryan as curator, they have programmed a year-long series of events, initiatives and exhibitions to take the steps to becoming more sustainable. In their efforts to join the greener side at our May Brooklyn edition, they hosted a number of exciting new features, including a Feedback Wall they asked me to paint. The Feedback Wall was where visitors were asked to leave ideas and suggestions to further the cause in creating a community of art lovers who help each other be more eco-aware.

“STAY STRONG MURAL RESTORATION”

Commissioned by The Township of Bloomfield
The “Stay Strong” Mural is an iconic piece of art in downtown Bloomfield, so when I was asked to restore it to it’s originally glory, I was happy to! This was my first restoration project of another artist’s work and I believe we honored the original design while bringing back the vibrancy it once had. Feel free to get in contact if you have a restoration project you’d like me to work on!
